Most comedy clubs would be delighted to have either Ian Cognito or Jason Cook on the bill let alone both. Cognito may well be a little long in the tooth for his enfant terrible status these days but an arsenal of economically written one-liners paired up with an electrifying stage presence still make him one of comedy's most bankable headline acts.

Jason Cook may have found mainstream success with TV (he wrote and starred in 'Hebburn' alongside Chris Ramsey, Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer) and two successful Radio 4 series but his club set reveals a dark, sharp comedic mind cloaked in a cheerful Geordie exterior.

Then add to the mix newcomer Catherine Bohart. Maybe nowhere near as controversial as the lads but her back story is by far the most interesting. This OCD, bisexual daughter of an Irish Catholic deacon came to prominence in the finals of last year's BBC New Comedy Awards and her subtle yet subversive brand of stand up is making big waves both here and in her native Ireland.

And who better to hold all this together than Chester's Danny McLoughlin who was crowned Best Compere in the 2016 UK Comedy Awards!

The show starts at 8.30pm prompt and admission is £12 on the door or £10 advance from the venue or online at www.chorltoncomedy.co.uk Further info in 07874 152 338
