Levenshulme Market goes Green for Irish Festival
The award winning Levenshulme Market will have an Irish theme to it this year to celebrate the 2017 Manchester Irish Festival. The first market of the season is on Saturday 4 March to coincide with the launch of this year's festival.
It will also host its second market on Saturday 11th March and then on St Patrick's Day itself, Friday 17th March it will hold its first Irish themed night market from 5pm to 9pm. The market will feature live music from the Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band and Irish Dancers plus a host of other entertainers and treats.
This family friendly market with a host of independent Food, Crafts and Drink stalls is situated on the former Palace nightclub car park, just behind Levenshulme Railway Station off Stockport Road on Farmside Place. It is very easy to access by Bus, Train or Bike. Parking is available on Stockport Road after 6pm.
A host of St Patrick's Day parties take place in the numerous Irish Pubs in the area which is one of the main hubs in the Manchester Irish Festival, so put on your Green and come and join in the free fun.
