South Manchester stage 10 Day Tradfest to celebrate 25th Anniversary
South Manchester will be turned Green from Saturday 7 March to St Patrick's Day on Tuesday 17 March to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this years 2020 Manchester Irish Festival. The area will be staging a ten day Tradfest featuring over 200 Irish Musicians, Singers and Dancers as well as hosting a number of highly acclaimed Irish plays and photographic exhibitions.

Saturday 7 March
Young, Gifted and Green 25th Anniversary Irish Music, Song and Dance show at St Bede's College
This Show is now SOLD OUT
The award winning show will be raising funds from The Christie Cancer Care Hospital and it features performances from some of the shows former members as well as students from the College and a number of special guests from all over the UK, Ireland and France. Special guests include Irish Dancers 'The Ganley Sisters' as seen on RTE TV Late Late Show.
Sat 7 and Sunday 8 March
The Manchester Set Dancers take over St Kents Irish Club for a Set Dancing weekend with a Ceili on Saturday Night and Sunday Afternoon
Sunday 8 March
If you didn’t manage to get a ticket for the Sold Out Young, Gifted and Green Show, you can catch the dancers at St Kents. They will stage a Jiving and Waltzing workshop from 10-12 and a Sean nós Brush and Barrel Dancing from 2-4 before they fly back to Mayo. Pre booking is essential just email email@example.com

It’s a time to catch the Manchester Irish Festival YGG 25 Years exhibition at the Union in Levenshulme
Tuesday 10 March
Memories and Melodies Irish Music Play by Jean Farrell and friends. The highly acclaimed actor Jean Farrell flys over from Ireland to stage the Manchester Debut of this new Traditional Irish Musical.
Wednesday 11 March
Watch out for the Levenshulme Pub Company 30th anniversary exhibition featuring the Irish Trad musicians who have performed at its venues.
