Thairish 'Pop Up' is a real taste of Ireland.
The popular Thairish Cafe, Levenshulme has launched it's own 'Pop Up Shop' - selling Irish Produce. They are now stocking a variety of Irish food products especially for those who have been missing their favourite foods from home.
They are already stocking many famous Irish products such as Barry's Tea, Galtee puddings, Galtee Cheese, Club Orange, Tayto crisps, Kimberley Biscuits, McCann's Rich Barmbrack, Flahavan's Porridge Oats and Nash's Red Lemonade. This is just a selection of what they have to offer and the team at the cafe will happily do their best to order your favourite Irish Produce.
Bernadette Fallon from the cafe said, "Our Full Irish Breakfasts are hugely popular as is our other Irish fayre. Customers have long asked us to order stuff from Ireland for them - so we have taken the plunge and now have our brand new 'pop up shop'. If we don't have your favourites just let us know and we'll try to get them for you. We're extending our offers for the Irish Festival as well as doing daily Irish 'Specials' right through March."
Fidelma Clerkin, one of the Thairish Team said, "There are very few places in south Manchester that cater for the culinary needs of the Irish. Since Johnson's the Butchers sadly closed - we have inundated with locals asking us to stock Irish Produce. We'll endeavor to get whatever you request and if you want to wash it down with a pint of the black stuff, we'll send you to Hennigan Sport's Bar next door."
Joanne Armstrong, from the cafe said, "It's not just the Irish or Irish Descent who've been buying our low cost produce. Local people from our multi-cultural community have really taken to our shop. We're also looking forward to extending our Irish Menu for the festival. If anyone would like to challenge Fidelma or John to cook a dish from 'back home' pop in."
At the time of writing, Thairish Cafe in Levenshulme is the World's only cafe to offer dual Irish and Thai Food. There is free parking at the back of the cafe and free WIFI.
