Top Ten St Patrick’s Day Events in Manchester
Every Irish venue around Greater Manchester will be staging a special St Patrick’s Day event today which will start in the morning and go on until the cows come home. We have picked out our favourite top Irish venues to enjoy the day and evening at:

1. St Kent’s Irish Club on Hart Road in Fallowfield
The multi-award winning Irish club will begin their celebrations with a St Patrick’s Day mass from 11am at St Kent’s Church next door. Straight after mass, the club will open its doors for the 2019 Manchester Irish Festival, St Patrick’s Day Breakfast in aid of Irish Community Care. The breakfast is just a £5 donation to the charity and it includes live entertainment. Later on in the evening Irish Country Music star, Eamon McCann takes to the stage, admission is £12.50

2. O’Shea’s Irish Bar, City Centre
All Day St Patrick’s Day Celebration with Live Irish Music and Craic, its Free before 6pm, £6 after

3. Chorlton Irish Club, High Lane, Chorlton
St Patrick’s Day celebrations from 12 noon til late, expect to see Irish Dancing displays from the Keegan Academy of Irish Dancing and live traditional Irish Music.

4. Farmers Arms, Burnage Lane, Burnage
St Patrick’s all day party with the All Ireland Club Championships (Both Football & Hurling being shown LIVE), plus Live Irish Music with Pete Docherty and his Irish Sing along 2pm-7pm, followed by Mike & Evelyn from 7.30pm – Close, plus the Farmers Kitchen is open all day. Free Admission.

5. The Union Irish Music Bar, Stockport Road, Levenshulme
The Bar will open its doors at 12 noon and Irish Singer Songwriter will be performing a free St Patrick’s afternoon concert from 2pm singing all your classic Irish songs, later in the evening DJ Mary McGee will be getting the party rocking with her classic mix of Irish Party tunes, so make sure you get your dancing shoes on and your best Green outfit. Watch out for the free Irish stew and homemade soda bread.

6. Fred’s Ale House, Stockport Road in Levenshulme
St Patrick’s Day Roast Dinner, enjoy a meal with all the family in the venues 1st floor award winning Pop up restaurant from 12 noon to 5pm. You must book your meal in advance by texting the Chef on 07954166761 to reserve your seating. The five-piece traditional Irish Band ‘Moor Irish’ will be staging a special free admission St Patrick’s Evening concert from 8pm in the intimate Gallery performance space at the venue. This special event is being sponsored by the Levenshulme Pub Company as part of their 30th year anniversary celebrations.

7. Hennigans Sports Bar, Stockport Road, Levenshulme
If it’s a day of live GAA Sport and one of the best pints of Guinness in Levenshulme, then head to the Sports Bar in the middle of the village for their St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
8. The Irish World Heritage Centre, Irish Town Way, Cheetham Hill
The Centre will be staging an All Day St Patrick’s Day with good food, live music and plenty of craic on offer.

9. M19 Bar, Stockport Road Levenshulme
If it’s a night of clubbing you are after, head to the St Patrick’s Night ‘Young, Gifted & Gorgeous’ and don’t forget your dancing shoes and St Patrick’s Day outfit. Doors open at 9pm, just follow the queue to get in on Stockport Road.
